 Village 8 Theaters
A landmark of St.
Matthews in Dupont Village, Village 8 continues to be Louisville's
only 'discount house' operating at full schedule seven days a week,
three-hundred sixty-five days a year. The theaters range in seating
capacity from 77 to 189 and can accommodate special shows for large
groups.
Village 8 is now the home of Apex Entertainment's newest project
called "Louisville Exclusive Films". This project brings
first-run independent, foreign, and art-house films to Louisville
with a new film opening up each Friday.
Village 8 has also hosted a number of special events including the
Jewish Film Festival, Asian Film Series and the International 48 Hour Film
Festival.
